Happy Earth Day!!

I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't always do my part. I was not born, nor raised to reduce, recycle and re-use. I would consume things, toss them away and never look back. However once I became a Mother all that changed... It was as if my Daughter woke me up.
What I do today matters. Long after my Husband and I are gone, this earth will still be her home. I want to be able to look my Daughter in the eye,  and honestly say that I did my part in preserving our planet for her.

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not."

I'm such a sucker for cute kids!! ADORABLE CHILD!!

It's been fun going green for us. I love being the one at the grocery check out (and Target and Wal-Mart, etc) with the 'green' bags. I always try to strike up a conversation with others about trying at least one new green thing a month...ease into it if it seems hard. We've been reducing, reusing and recycling and it feels great!

Your little girl is just so stinkin' cute! This post is a great reminder that we must all do our part to preserve our planet for the next generation. Great photos!
Thanks for linking your WW post up over at my place the other day. I'm starting a new blog carnival/meme next Tuesday called "OH NO HE DIDN'T!" TUESDAY. I'd love for you to come by and read my latest post so you can see what it's all about. It's going to be lots of fun.
Thanks again for the great reminder about our precious planet. Have a great day!

These photos of your daughter are so adorable! I am also trying to introduce more "green" into my life and do my part to help the world. It's SO true that having a child really puts everything into perspective.

btw, I'm following you from MBC, please check out my site too: www.siren.org :)
